If you’re looking for some time away from the roller coasters and churros (and maybe the crowds) and want to explore some of the other things to do in Florida then read on. Of course many of the best malls and shopping areas in Florida can be found in Orlando and the Gulf and Atlantic coastlines have some of the USA’s best beaches of which, quite a few are only a short drive from Orlando. You can view some of the local wildlife on an airboat tour or see the theme parks from a helicopter. Plus don’t forgot you can return to the UK from Tampa or Miami airport if you’re planning on finishing up your hols at one of the beach areas. We’ve really, really tried to avoid the mention of any theme parks here but I needed to include water parks and the shopping areas within the theme park resorts – sorry!
